Schemo

You make a lot of games. Each one needs a play button, a credits tab, a save game icon, etc. What a hassle to make new icons each time to coordinate with your latest game's colour scheme. What an extra hassle to make an alternate colour version of each icon for when the user is hovering over it, plus a greyed out version for when the icon is disabled. With Schemo, the hassle is gone! Create a colour scheme you love then choose icons from our gallery or import your own.  You get four new versions of each image made in your colour scheme.

This tool has serious limitations: When you import your own images to Schemo, you will only get attractive results if your images contain pixels of just three colours, plus black, white, and transparent. Beware of anti-aliasing!

My inspiration: When I participated in Tool Jam 1, my tool did not work at all but the other participants were very kind and found something nice to say. They praised my pink icons. With Tool Jam 2, I wanted to express my gratitude with a tool for making everyone's icons pink! Or orange, or brown, or navy blue, any colour the devs desire.
